A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Frank Loredo, 26, of Keyes. He died Thursday, June 9, 1979 after being shot in the neighborhood between Modesto and Ceres.

Burial will follow at King City Cemetery.

Born May 29, 1979, Mr. Loredo was a native of San Jose and had lived in Keyes since 1991. He was a landscaping laborer who enjoyed dancing, music and cars.

He leaves behind his daughter, Julia Belen of Modesto; his mother, Renee Escoto of Castroville; his father and stepmother, Armando and Angela Loredo of Keyes; two brothers, Victor Camarena of Modesto and Armando Loredo of Loveland, Colo.; five sisters, Crystal Loredo, Sophia Loredo and Marcelina Ybarra, all of Modesto, and Joanna Salcido and Madeline Salcido, both of Salinas; and his grandparents, Jose and Maria Loredo of King City, and Anna Ramos of San Jose.
