A service was held Saturday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Gary Xayarath, 20, of Modesto. He died Saturday, May 1, 2004 at Doctors Medical Center.
Inurnment was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born June 18, 1983, Mr. Xayarath was a native of San Diego. He lived in Modesto five years and previously lived in Tacoma, Wash., eight years. He was a landscaper for Rex Landscaping for a few months. He enjoyed auto mechanics, installing stereo systems, fishing and football. He was a member of Wat Lao Buddharangsy Buddhist Temple in Ceres.
He is survived by his parents, Noy and Oudom Xayarath of Modesto; sisters, Sandy Xayarath, Judy Xayarath and Michelle Xayarath, all of Modesto; and brother, Bobby Xayarath of Modesto.
