A funeral service was held Tuesday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel for Geneva Rayburn Hendrix, 64, of Ceres. She died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 at Dameron Hospital in Stockton.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born Nov. 9, 1940, Mrs. Hendrix was a native of Trinity, Texas, and had lived in Ceres since 1952. Mrs. Hendrix was a homemaker and a member of Missionary Baptist Church of Keyes. She enjoyed water sports, bowling and dancing.
Mrs. Hendrix leaves behind her husband, Jim E. Hendrix of Ceres; two children, Sheri Lorenzo of Ceres and Donnie Hendrix of Turlock; two brothers, Leonard Rayburn of Gentry, Ark., and Woodrow Rayburn of Keyes; her sister, Faye Traveis of Ceres; and three grandchildren.
