Evins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Gerald Wayne Elam, 50, of Hughson. He died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004 at his home in Hughson.
Born June 25, 1954, Mr. Elam was native of Los Angeles and lived in Hughson for two years. He worked as a concrete finisher for 10 years and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Mr. Elam leaves behind his wife, Patricia Elam of Modesto; two children, Juliet Murray of Dallas and Kinney Byrd of Modesto; his mother, Dorothy Guerrero of Hughson; his brother, David Elam of Modesto; his sister, Leann Cole of Modesto; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Elam.
