The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of funeral arrangements for Geraldine Rae Brandt Gilbert, 77, of Ceres. She died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at her home.
A private memorial service was held.
Born April 13, 1928, Mrs. Gilbert was a native of St. Paul, Minn., and lived in Ceres for 12 years. She previously lived in Salinas and Santa Cruz. Mrs. Gilbert was a homemaker. She enjoyed her parakeet, "Tweety," late afternoon lunches with her daughter and watching Court TV.
She leaves behind her three children, DeLinda Moore of Ceres, Bill Gilbert of Felton and Marty Gilbert of Ben Lomond; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William I. Gilbert.
