Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Gregory Arther Fiveash, 43, of Danville. He died March 27, 2009 at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto after a sudden illness.

Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.

Born Oct.1, 1965 in Ceres, Gregory was the first of two sons born to Arthur and Judy Fiveash of Hughson. He attended Hughson High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team, and graduated in 1983. Gregory attended Modesto Junior College, and then went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He began his career in the printing industry and quickly found his calling in sales. For the past nine years, Greg worked in medical sales, most recently as a highly successful medical device sales rep at Codman Johnson & Johnson, where he consulted with neurosurgeons to help numerous patients with brain injuries and illnesses. In 2007, he earned his place as one of Codman's Top 8 sales representatives in the United States. Greg enjoyed basketball, golf, working out, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.

He leaves behind his wife, Laura Fiveash of Danville; his daughter, Sarah Fiveash of Danville; his brother, Tony Fiveash, of Hughson; and his parents, Arthur and Judy Fiveash of Hughson.
