Private services were held for Gwendolyn Quintine Mitchell, 85, of Klamath Falls, Ore. The former Ceres resident died Sept. 15, 2011 in Klamath Falls.
Born June 22, 1926, Gwendolyn lived in Ceres before moving to Klamath Falls 10 years ago. Mrs. Mitchell drove a bus for the Ceres Unified School District. She enjoyed cooking and growing roses around her home, camping, playing cards and caring after her children.
She leaves behind two sons, William H. Mitchell of Ceres and James R. Mitchell of Klamath Falls. She was preceded in death by husband William "Bill" A. Mitchell. daughter Saundra Kay Mitchell and by Johnny Dale Mitchell of Greeley Hill and Arthur Wilson Mitchell of Ceres.
