Allen Mortuary was in charge of private services for Hazel Pool Hewson, 86, of Modesto. She died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center.
Born Dec. 4, 1917, Mrs. Hewson was a native of Cardwell, Mo., and lived in the Modesto and Ceres area for 20 years. She previously lived in the Bay Area, Pixley, and Southern California. Mrs. Hewson was a homemaker.
She leaves behind her son, Jim Hewson of Everett, Wash.; her brother, Lawrence Pool of Ceres; two sisters, Mary Lou Boots of Phoenix and Peggy Skinner of Modesto; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hewson.
