Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ceres for Helen June Gonsalves, 83, of Ceres. She died Feb. 18, 2008 with her son and daughter in law present.
Born July 19, 1924 in Montrose, Colo., Mrs. Gonsalves lived in California most of her life. She worked in a few factories including Sunshine Biscuit and Anchor Hocking Glass Company.
She leaves behind two sons, Dale Thompson and Robin Freis; two sisters, Geraldine Gillespie and Gladys Reitman; and four grandchildren, Ruth, Mark, Kyle and Taneea. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, mother Lillian, brother Jim, and sister Phyllis.
