A graveside service was held Friday at Ceres Memorial Park for Henry Curtis Amant, 75, of Ceres. She died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004 at Brandel Manor in Turlock.
Eaton Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born Sept. 7, 1928, Mr. Amant was a native of Wichita, Kan., and lived in Ceres for 70 years. He was a truck driver for 50 years. Mr. Amant was a member of Central Avenue General Baptist Church of Ceres. He enjoyed gaming and fishing.
He leaves behind five children, Michael Amant of San Jose, Glen Amant and Kevin Amant, both of Ceres, Rhonda Collins of Keyes and Janice Harris of Apple Valley; three brothers, Robert Amant and George Amant, both of Sacramento, and Charles Amant of Missouri; and 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
