A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Apostolic Assembly First Church of Modesto for Hermelinda Duarte, 61, of Riverbank. She died Friday, July 15, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at Faith Home and East Hatch roads in Ceres.
Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the church.
Born Dec. 8, 1943, Mrs. Duarte was a native of Penjamillo, Michoacn, Mexico, and lived in Riverbank for 28 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing.
She leaves behind her husband,Venustiano Moreno Duarte of Riverbank; eight children, Gail Duarte, Rigo Duarte, Vicki Ibarra and Leticia Mora, all of Riverbank, Araceli Duarte and Martha Saldivar, both of Ceres, Celia Rubio of Sacramento and Norma Lucero of Hawaii; four brothers, Alfonso Ramirez, Basilio Ramirez, Conrado Ramirez and Eloy Ramirez; four sisters, Estela Ramirez, Eustolia Ramirez, Graciela Ramirez, Guillermina Ramirez and Yolanda Ramirez; and 14 grandchildren.
