Services were held Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Imogene Fleeman Ikenberry, 86, of Modesto. She died Jan. 30, 2010 at her home.
Born Dec. 21, 1923 in Doniphan, Mo., Imogene moved to Modesto in 1961. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Ceres and was also a volunteer for Angels on Wheels, where she drove cancer patients to treatments.
She leaves behind her children, Lisa Ramont and Tim Fleeman, both of Modesto; her brother, Herbert Ellis of Ceres; her sister Mattie Douglas of Arkansas; and nine grand children and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Jessie Fleeman and Ed Ikenberry, sons Ronnie, Gary, and Rick and brothers J.L. Ellis and Junior Ellis.
