The vigil and rosary were held Monday at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel in Turlock for Inez Helen Hinkelman, 96, of Modesto. She died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at San Luis Convalescent Hospital in Newman.
A graveside service was held Tuesday morning at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born March 18, 1909, Mrs. Hinkelman was a native and lifelong resident of Modesto. She was a homemaker and a member and secretary of Stanislaus County Swiss Club of Ceres. Mrs. Hinkelman and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking and dogs.
Mrs. Hinkelman leaves behind two children, Edward Hinkelman of Modesto and Geri Ottersbach of Ceres; and seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hinkelman.
