A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the clubhouse of the Las Casitas Mobile Home Park, 2841 Fowler Road, Ceres, for Jason Shawn Haley, 43, of Ceres, He died March 3, 2011.
Born Feb. 6, 1968 in Charleston, S.C., Shawn and his family lived in various states before settling down in Redwood City, just in time for him to start kindergarten. He graduated Menlo-Atherton High School in 1986. He moved to the Modesto area in 1990 and then made Ceres their hometown in July, 2000. Mr. Haley most recently worked at Pepsi Bottling Group in the M.E.M. department as a soda fountain technician for eight years.
He leaves behind his wife, Melinda Haley of Ceres; his children, Desire' Haley, Jacob Haley, and Jason Haley Jr., all of Ceres, Thomas Mlady of Oklahoma, Elizabeth Mlady of Modesto, and Katherine Mlady of Ceres; his mother, Barbara Buckey of Redwood City; and two grandsons, Jaiden Dunaway and Xander Mlady.
