A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Jack Mitchel Boling, 67, of Ceres. He died April 29, 2010.
Mr. Boling was born Aug. 4, 1942 in Indianapolis, Ind., and came to California as a child. Jack was a graduate of Ceres High School, then served in the Air Force. Mr. Boling was a resident of Ceres for over 25 years. For over 25 years he was an equipment mechnic employed by the city of Modesto. Jack was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ceres. He enjoyed hunting and reading western novels. He especially found delight in decorating the family home on Christmas Tree Lane for many years.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary Boling of Ceres; two children, Robert Boling and Adeana Phillips; his brother, Don Boling; his sister, Barbara Stewart; and one grandchild, Tava Opal Boling.
