Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Jackline Kay King, 55. She died Dec. 24, 2011.

A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday also at Allen Mortuary.

Burial will follow the service at North Hilmar Cemetery.

Born May 31, 1956 in Citrus Heights, Jackline was raised in Hilmar. She later settled in the Ceres/Modesto area where she graduated from Ceres High School in 1974. Jackline worked for Stanislaus County for 26 years. She enjoyed dancing, gambling, traveling and spending time at the beach.

She leaves behind her husband, Andrew King; her daughter, Amanda Carter of Modesto; her mother, Donna Smith of Turlock; her sisters, Karen Wilson and Virginia McGingthy; and her two brothers, Don Carey and Billy Burris. Jackline was preceded in death by her father Martin Burris.
