A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24 at Big Valley Grace Community Church, 4040 Tully Road, Modesto, for James C. Steward III, 24, of Modesto. The former Ceres resident died July 11, 2012 at his home on Patrick Air Force Base in Florida.
Born Dec. 24, 1987 in Modesto, Jim was a senior Airman in the U.S. Air Force since 2006. A former Boy Scout, Mr. Steward was an avid reader, motorcyclist and video gamer.
He leaves behind his wife, Julianna Steward of Melbourne, Fla.; his parents, Jim and Alicia Steward (formerly of Ceres); his brother, Benjamin Steward of Modesto; two sisters, Ainsley Steward of Modesto and Jennifer Milton of Silverdale, Wash.; and his grandmother, Mickie Adkins of Modesto.
