A graveside service was held Friday at Park View Cemetery in Manteca for James Vernon Hembree, 64, of Modesto died Monday, June 14, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center.
P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Chapel in Manteca, was in charge of arrangements.
Born Sept. 19, 1939, Mr. Hembree was a native of Fairfield and had lived in Modesto since 1972, and previously lived in Ceres.
He leaves behind two sisters, Mary Earnest of Modesto and Joy Duncan of Manteca.
