A funeral was held at Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel for Ceres infant Javier Evan Pena. He died July 26, 2008 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto after being born the day before.

Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.

He is survived by his parents, Marlyn Elaine Alvarez and Javier Pena, Jr. of Ceres; and his grandparents, Javier and Maria Pena and Jesus and Sarah Alvarez.
