A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Lakewood Memorial Park for Jerry Dobbs, 61, of Modesto. He died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at his home.
The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of arrangements.
Born May 31, 1944, Mr. Dobbs was a native and lifelong resident of Modesto. He was a supervisor at Del Monte Foods for 36 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He leaves behind his wife, Ranae Anderson-Dobbs of Modesto; two children, Tonya Dobbs of Ceres and Carla Rice of Sonora; two stepchildren, Lanae Rutherford of Modesto and Shawn Anderson of Ripon; two brothers, Harold F. Dobbs of Ceres and Larry D. Dobbs of Sydney, Neb.; his sister, Kay Moore of Texas; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Ruth Dobbs.
