A visitation and rosary was held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Jesse David Moreno Hernandez Jr., an infant, of Modesto. He died Dec. 26, 2007.
Funeral services were Saturday at Monte Vista Chapel in Turlock.
Interment was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Jesse was born Sept. 19, 2007 as a premie who suffered from a problem with his brain, Lissencephaly.
The baby is survived by his mother, Shalaine Hernandez of Modesto; his father, Jesse David Moreno of Modesto; two sisters, Araya Galvan, 8, of San Jose, Juliana Hernandez Moreno, 15 months, of Modesto; maternal grandparents Esequiel Hernandez and wife Deborah Dutra Hernandez of Modesto; paternal grandmother, Isabel Penlosa of Ceres; godmother and aunt, Lleanna Hernandez of San Jose; godfather Raul Galvan of San Jose; and two uncles, Zeke Hernandez of Modesto, and Jesus Chavez of Ceres. Jesse was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ladislado Moreno.
