A memorial service was held Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Jessie B. Forbis Tollefson, 84, of Modesto. She died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004 at Garden City Health Care.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born Feb. 11, 1920, Mrs. Tollefson was a native of Glasgow, Ky., and lived in Stanislaus County for more than 50 years. She worked as the production supervisor at Olson Bros. Egg Co. for 30 years. She was a member of Ceres Christian Church.
She leaves behind her son, Joe Adams of Ceres; two stepchildren, Beverly Munk of Redding and Bob Tollefson of Athol, Idaho; her brother, Bill Forbis of Modesto; and four stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tollef Tollefson.
