A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4601 Hyland Ave., San Jose, for Jessie Rosalez Perea, 81, of Ceres. She died July 2, 2009 with her family by her side.
Interment will take place at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.
Born Nov. 22, 1927, "Nonie" enjoyed cooking, gardening and family gatherings. She lived at Whitmore Oaks Senior Complex in Ceres.
She leaves behind her three children, Peter D. Perea, Susan Carrillo, and David J. Perea; her brothers Benny Rosalez, Candelario Rosalez, Joe Rosalez and Henry Rosalez; her sisters, Hope Garcia and Lilly Fernandez; and seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Peter C. Perea, parents Candelario and Delores Rosalez, and sister Juanita Perez.
