Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service was in charge of private services for Joseph Readd Sr., 60, of Hughson. He died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
Born Nov. 7, 1944, Mr. Readd was a native of Baltimore, Md., and lived in Hughson for 40 years. He was employed as a pressman for the James River Corporation in Modesto for 25 years. He was an Army veteran, serving with the 101st Airborne Division.
He leaves behind five children, Joe Readd and Teena Newell, both of Hughson, Shands Readd of Madera, Katie Alvarado of Ceres and Kim Clark of Texas; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
