Juanita Delores Sims

June 4, 1933 – July 8, 2023

Juanita Delores Sims passed away peacefully on July 8, 2023 at the age of 90.

She was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on June 4, 1933 to Leonard and Lillian Croslin. Juanita enjoyed reading books of all kinds, especially her Bible. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Juanita leaves behind her children, Sharon (Gary) DeVries, Virginia (Paul) Wilson and Lewis (Linda) Sims, Jr. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lewis Sims; and son Robert Sims.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Sims family. A viewing will be held Friday, July 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin St., Escalon, followed by a graveside service on Saturday, July 15 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson.
