A Mass was said Monday at St. Jude's Catholic Church for Julia Caldoron Hernandez, 68, of Ceres. She died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 at her home.

The rosary was at the McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs in Modesto.

Born April 12, 1936, Mrs. Hernandez was a native of Escobedo, Mexico, and had lived in Ceres for one year. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her husband, Gonzalo Hernandez of Mexico; seven children, Jose B. Hernandez, Juan F. Hernandez and Gonzalo Hernandez, all of Modesto, Rosario Cabrera and Ernesto Hernandez, both of Mexico, Rosalba Larios of Ceres and Hilda Hernandez of Los Angeles; five brothers, Conception Caldoron and Ricardo Caldoron, both of Hemet, Jesus Caldoron of Chula Vista, Moises Caldoron of Chino, and Patrocionio Caldoron of San Diego; and 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
