A funeral service was held Monday at Chapman Funeral Home for Kathleen F. Brinkley, 52, of Clarence, Iowa. She died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic in Iowa City, Iowa.
Burial was at Clarence Cemetery in Clarence, Iowa.
Born Feb. 24, 1953, Mrs. Brinkley was a native of Ceres. She lived in Clarence, Iowa for two years and previously had lived in Modesto. Mrs. Brinkley worked for Del Monte for 26 years.
She leaves behind her husband, Donald Brinkley; three children, Robin Phillips, Kimberly Raney and Gloria Moore, all of Clarence, Iowa; two sisters, Eva Park of Galt and Pamela Throne of Modesto; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moter and Faye Fuller Vernon; and two sisters.
