A funeral service was held Tuesday at United Pentecostal Church of Ceres for Kathleen G. Sansom, 81, of Ceres. She died April 12, 2008.
Committal will be at 10 a.m. today, at Ceres Memorial Park Cemetery.
The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of arrangments.
Born July 8, 1926, Mrs. Sansom was a woman who loved life and her family. Kathleen was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church in Ceres, where she also served as pastor's wife for 18 years of her life. Mrs. Sansom loved the Lord with all of her heart and Her husband and family were the joy of her life.
She leaves behind her husband of 64 years, Ewin Sansom; her son, Rev. Leonard Sansom of Ceres; a brother, Dale Haney of Missouri; three sisters, Juanita Majors of Missouri, and Christine Crow and Marjorie Granus, both of California; two grandchildren Rev. Delmon Sansom and Kimberly Hanks; and four great-grandchildren, Miquel Hanks, Joshua Hanks and Shea Sansom and Reannah Sansom.
