A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Kay Woodruff, 89, of Kennewick, Wash. The former Ceres resident died July 17, 2008.
Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson and a reception will follow.
Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home of Kennewich, Wash., is entrusted with arrangements.
Born Nov. 8, 1918 in Livingston, Mrs. Woodruff lived in Modesto and Ceres for over 80 years. Five years ago she moved to Kennewick, Wash.
She leaves behind her three children, Mardell Rowan-Schlotman of Kennewick, Wash., Richard Woodruff of Oakdale, and Dwight Woodruff of Mission Viejo; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, sister, brother-in-law and grandson.
