A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Ceres Memorial Park for Kenneth Phillips, 66, of Keyes. He died of natural causes on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs.

Born Sept. 2, 1939, Mr. Phillips was a native of Ladonia, Texas, and lived in Keyes for over 60 years. He was a construction worker for 40 years, last employed by Arnold Cement for 10 years. Mr. Phillips served in the Army from 1963 to 1964. He loved to hunt deer and spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his wife, Frances Phillips of Keyes; his daughter, Stephanie Wood of Keyes; two brothers, John Phillips of Turlock and Clyde Phillips of Modesto; four sisters, Helen Goguey of Porterville, Pauline Fisher of Montana, Ann Mancebo of Turlock and Rosemary Burchett of Tulare; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by is brother, Jimmie Phillips.
