A memorial service was held Saturday at Big Valley Grace Community Church in Modesto for Kevin Mark Gibson, 53, of Modesto. He died peacefully on Nov. 28, 2008 at his home.
Born Nov. 24, 1955 in Modesto, Kevin was raised in the Modesto/Ceres area. He attended church at North Modesto Free Will Baptist church, Village Chapel of Ceres and most recently Big Valley Grace Community church. He owned a business, and was a long haul truck driver, purchasing agent, and a machinist for Hypower Hydraulics. Mr. Gibson enjoyed precision target shooting, and was a computer whiz who enjoyed playing World of Warcraft. He was also a member of the Manteca chapter of E Clampus Vitus.
He leaves behind his wife Susan D. Gibson of Modesto; his children, Renate S. Jordan of Modesto and Steven M. Gibson of Modesto; his brother, R. Scott Gibson of Ceres; and his mother, Janice Kay Gibson of Modesto. He was preceded in death by father, William C. Gibson.
