A service was held Saturday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin and Downs for Kyle Stuart Chambers, 19, of Delhi. He died May 27, 2008.

Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery in Whittier.

Born Dec. 12, 1988, Kyle was a native of Montclair. A born again Christian, Kyle attended Bethel Tabernacle in Ceres where was an integral part of the youth department. He also delighted in playing the guitar with the church music department. Kyle loved hunting, fishing, boating and most outdoor activities. He was also known for his creative writing abilities, including poems.

He leaves behind his parents, Randy and Pamela Chambers of Delhi; his sisters, Krysti Sudduth of Bullhead City, Ariz., and JoWanda Collins, of Turlock; his brothers, Charles F. Wainford IV, of Bullhead City, and Randal D. Chambers of Turlock; and his grandparents, Carol Ellicott of Ft. Mohave, Ariz., LaVerne Nix of Empire, and Robert E. Chambers of Anderson.
