Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Larry Allen Goates, 48, of Ceres. He died Jan. 6, 2012 at Stanford Medical Hospital after a four-year battle with lymphoma/leukemia.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood.
Born August 18, 1963 in Ceres, Larry graduated from Ceres High School. He worked in drywall for and was later employed at Kraft Foods. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycles and family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brenda Goates of Ceres; his twin daughters, Christina and Tiffany Goates, niece/daughter, Jamie; his mother, Faye Johnson; his father and stepmother, Willie and Peggy Goates; two sisters, Judy Hackett and Marilyn Goates; his stepbrother, Chad Watts; and his half-brother. Jimmy Loforti (Giggles).
