A funeral service was held Friday at Richland Faith Assembly of God in Ceres for Lee Roy Jones, 88, of Modesto. He died Feb. 16, 2008 at his home.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born July 22, 1919 , Mr. Jones was a guard at the Riverbank Ammunition Depot for 38 years. He was a member of Richland Faith Assembly of God in Ceres. Mr. Jones' hobbies included fishing and gardening. He enjoyed going out to dinner and spending time with his wife.
He leaves behind his wife, Rebecca Jones of Modesto; his daughter, Thelma Lee Henderson of Buena Park; his sister, Faye Renfro of Henrietta, Okla.; and four grandchildren.
