A graveside service was held Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Lois Mae Manley, 71, of Hughson. She died May 11, 2008.
Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
Born Oct. 21, 1936 in Bard to Roy and Alva Johnson, Lois grew up in Hughson. She attended Hughson High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Billly Joe Manley. She loved gardening, barbecues and being outdoors. She especially loved being around her family.
She leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Billy Joe Manley of Hughson; two children, Joe Manley and Lori Hedrick; her brother, Wayne Johnson of Antioch; her sister, Beverly Jean "Jeanne" Rembush of Michigan; her grandchildren, Amanda and Jeremy Sheppard, Michelle Manley, Matt Allinson, and Aaron Allinson; and one great-grandson, GrantSheppard. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorothy Barnett, brother Richard Johnson and grandson Robby Hedrick.
