A funeral service was held Tuesday at Eaton Family Funeral Home in Modesto for Loretta Ranger, 68, of Ceres. She died July 8, 2008 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

Mrs. Ranger was born Dec. 14, 1939.

She leaves behind her daughter, Misty Hutson; and two sisters, Shirley Mendonca and Joyce Howard.
