A memorial service was held Friday at the Ceres Masonic Lodge for Lorraine Rachel Perryman, 82, of Ceres. She died June 12, 2012 in Ceres.

Born on Aug 29, 1929 in Lancaster, Pa., Lorraune married in 1952 to Ernest L. Perryman in Bel-Air, Md. She moved to Bakersfield, then to Fontana where she joined Order of Eastern Star (Masonic Auxiliary). Mrs. Perryman enjoyed the organization ad was an active member most of her life. She later become a life member of the Ceres Symra Lodge #296. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, laughing and have a good time, dancing and ice and roller skating.

She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Ernest L. Perryman of Ceres; twin sons, Mark Perryman and Steve Perryman; a brother, Mervin Ira Petes of Elizabethton, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Candace Perryman, Nick Perryman, Katie Crawford, Shay Perryman and Nathan Perryman.
