Louis Enriquez, known as the visible fixture in downtown Ceres and throughout Ceres making friends with others he encountered, has died. He died Jan. 27 at the age of 75.
A memorial service was held yesterday at Evins Funeral Home in Modesto.
Louis was often seen in the shade of a tree or building in downtown - and knew no strangers who passed his way.
Mr. Enriquez was born July 3, 1934.
He leaves behind his daughter, Cathy Bunch of Yuba City; two grandsons, Steven and Jeremy Underwood; and his great-grandsons, Brayden Underwood and Corey Underwood. His mourners include his best friend, Lupe Hernandez, and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Cox.
