A Mass will be said Luis Arturo Vega, 24, of Ceres, at 1 p.m. today at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres. He died of natural causes on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Services conclude at the church.
The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of cremation.
Born Oct. 11, 1979, Mr. Vega was a native of Los Angeles and lived in Ceres for four years. He was a construction worker of new houses. He lived in Oakland prior to moving to Modesto. Mr. Vega was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres.
He leaves behind his companion, Shanel Delain of Oakdale; his son, Luis Arturo Vega III of Manteca; his mother, Eva Quiroga of Ceres; his sister, Aracely Topete of Ceres; and his grandmother, Bertha Quiroga of Mexico.
