A funeral service was held Tuesday at Lakewood Funeral Home for M. Dale Hogan, 66, of Ceres. He died March 25, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 16, 1943 in Texas, Jim moved to Empire in 1948 and later moved to Ceres. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Hogan owned his own grading business.
He leaves behind his wife, Judy Hogan of Ceres; his two daughters, Tamee Melancon and Tricia Hogan, both of Tennessee; his step-daughter, Karen Fahland of Ceres; his brother, Leonard Hogan of Ceres; two sisters, Joetta Harrington-Hogan of Modesto, and Joyce Shaw of Ceres; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents Wheeler Dale and Ola Faye Hogan and brother Carl Hogan.
