Services were held Wednesday at Evergreen Chapel in Lodi for Mabel Y. Lee, 89. She died March 22, 2009 during a brief stay in the hospital.
Burial was at Cherokee Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Born April 3, 1919 in Walnut Grove, Mrs. Lee was in the grocery business for 28 years with her husband, having owned stores in Los Angeles, Hughson and Crows Landing. She retired in 1973.
She leaves behind her children, Rindy Merrifield of Rocklin, Rod Lee of Kirkland, Wash., and Raymond Lee of Modesto; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ray Lee who died in 2000.
