Services were held Monday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Marge Bundy, 84, of Hughson. She died Oct. 21, 2008 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Born July 13, 1924, Mrs. Bundy was a native of California and lived in Hughsonfor 50 years. She retired from the Hughson Post Office where she worked as a postal clerk for 20 years. Mrs. Bundy graduated from Modesto High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, and also was a member of the Sunshine Girls and Red Hat Society. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, writing poetry, and visiting family and friends.

She leaves behind three children, Linda Eikenberry of Santa Rosa, Karyn Birchall of La Selva Beach and Kevin Bundy of Waterford; two sisters, Velma Owens of Modesto, and Carole Enochs of Ceres; and six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lew Bundy, a 30-year teacher at Hughson High School; sisters, Beth Potter and Helen Fuller Blue; and brothers T. Roby Siegman and Alden Siegman.
