Marguerite McGhee-Love

A funeral was held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Lillian Marguerite McGhee-Love, 85, of Hughson. She died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Born Sept. 18, 1920, Mrs. McGhee-Love was a native of England, Arkansas and lived in Hughson for 65 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, and was a member of IOOF and Rebekah Lodge. Mrs. McGhee-Love enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, doing hair and church activities.

She leaves behind six children, Cliff McGhee, Wayne McGhee, Gene McGhee, Stan McGhee, Jackie McGhee Hayes and Beth McGhee Gaylor; her brother, Jerry Cantrell; her sister, Parthena Vassalir; and 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Woodrow McGhee; second husband, George Love; daughter, Lillian Pamelia McGhee; and three brothers.
