A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Maria Magana, 53, of Ceres. She died recently.
Interment will be at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born October 1954, Mrs. Magana was a native of Mexico and moved to Ceres in 1997. Maria loved singing and cooking for her family and friends. She found enjoyment in reading the Bible and praying.
She leaves behind her husband Joaquin Magana of Ceres; three children, Antonio Magana of Ceres, Josefina Flores of Minnesota, and Isabel Magana of Modesto; two brothers, Antonio Barragar of Stockton, and Feliz Medina of Mexico; her sister, Delfina Nava of New York; and three grandchildren.
