A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Ceres Memorial Park for Marian Campbell Vilmur, 81, of Ceres. She died May 29, 2008 at her home.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Born Sept. 20, 1926, Mrs. Vilmur was a native of Marietta, Okla. She worked for Tri Valley Growers Plant #7 for 40 years. Marian was a member of Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing Tile Rummy, working in her yard, watching movies, and PBR bull riding.
She leaves behind two daughters, Kanita K. Lippman of Surprise, Ariz., and Karan "Candy" Miller of Modesto, her son, Joe Vilmur, Jr. of Groveland; her sister, Helen Lucas Campbell of Orangeville; and six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents John and Daisy Campbell, husband Joe "Jack" Vilmur, and a great-grandson Riley Yancey.
