A chapel service was held Saturday afternoon, July 9 at Lakewood Funeral Home for Marion E. Patch, 90, of Ceres. He died Monday, July 4, 2005 at his home.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born March 24, 1915, Mr. Patch was a native of Garnet, Kan., and lived in Ceres for 55 years. He was a mechanic who enjoyed fishing, nature and watching the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers.
He leaves behind two daughters, Shirley J. Patch of Sacramento and Linda V. Dean of Oscoda, Mich.; two sisters, Dorothy Burke of Cupertino and Betty Rudolph of Rome, Ga.; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Patch.
