Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Turlock Memorial Park & Funeral Home for Mark A. Long, 62, of Ceres. He died July 20, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the chapel.
Born June 4, 1948 in Chicago, Ill.. to James and Lorraine Long, Mark moved to Long Beach in 1957 and then to Turlock in 1962. He most recently lived in Ceres. Mr. Long retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 2008. Mark enjoyed golfing and riding his motorcycle.
He leaves behind two children, Michelle Legg of Turlock, and Jennifer Long of Elk City, Okla.; four brothers, Jim Long, Larry Long, Skip Long, and Benchley Long, all of Turlock; his mother, Lorraine Long of Turlock; his grandson, Justin Legg; and two great-grandsons, Colby Legg and Julian Legg, both of Turlock.
