A funeral service was held Wednesday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Martha Aileen Spiller, 78, of Hughson. She died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at Elness Convalescent Hospital in Turlock.

Burial was in Tennessee.

Born Nov. 3, 1927, Mrs. Spiller was a native of Warren, Tenn., and lived in Hughson for four years and previously lived in Jamestown for 50 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and crafts.

She leaves behind eight children, John Spiller, Tommy Spiller and Kenny Spiller, all of California, Wayne Glover of Alabama, Charles DeWyze of New Mexico, Patricia Kulaga of Nevada and Judi Adams and Loue Talley, both of Illinois; two brothers, Clifton Feathers and Calvin Feathers, both of Tennessee; three sisters, Juanita Hawkins of Tennessee, Gretta Kelley of Colorado and Annette Johnson of Mississippi; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Spiller Jr.
