Evans Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Martha Sharon Walker, 42, of Ceres. She died of complications from pneumonia on Feb. 13, 2008 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Born Aug. 14, 1965 in San Jose to Andrew Walker and Mary Lou Windbigler, Martha moved to Ceres as a teenager with her family. She had three children by her first husband, and had a fourth child, Dakota, in 2005 by fiance Russell Dean Elwess Jr. Mrs. Walker enjoyed going to the movies, spending time with friends and relatives, and playing with her son. She also fond of kittens and her other pets.
She leaves behind her fiance, Russell Elwess Jr. of Ceres; her four children, Anthony Bryan, Deven Bryan, and Amanda Bryan, all of Oregon, and Dakota Wade Elwess of Ceres; her mother, Mary Lou Windbigler of Ceres; her brother, Jimmy Lee Walker of Ceres; sisters-in-law Rachel Martinez and Michelle Walker, both of Ceres; and a nephew, Andrew Walker of Ceres. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Walker, and grandmother Nelley Lee Merrill.
