A funeral will take place today at 10 a.m. at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Martin L. Frost, 78. He died July 21, 2011 in Turlock.
Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born March 24, 1933 in Calhoun, La., Martin was a veteran of the Korean War and served from May of 1950 to January 27, 1953, on which date he was honorably discharged from the Navy. Mr. Frost owned Turlock Janitorial from 1960 until he suffered his first heart attack at the age of 45. Now the business is carried on by his son, Glynn Frost. Mr. Frost was a member of the Ceres Mason Lodge.
He leaves behind his wife, Charlotte Frost of Turlock; his children, Glynn Frost and Mickey Frost Rebecca Ann Giannoitis and Rebecca Ann Moen; and nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Benton, Calvin, Jessie, Huey, and Wilbert, and sisters Florene and Slyvia.
